Wedding venues

Planning your own wedding no doubt is an exciting venture, but it can be a daunting task to tackle because organizing a wedding requires making hundreds of decisions, and one of the most important decisions made will be where to host it. If searching for a prime wedding venue in Northern California in the neighborhood of one of the largest alpine lakes in the world, Lake Tahoe has no shortage of options when it comes to exceptionality.

Outdoor Wedding Locations If it’s an outdoor ceremony you’re seeking, one of the most famed wedding venues in or about Lake Tahoe is on the elevated bluff of Emerald Bay. Towering high above the lake alongside the crescent, mountainous peaks this exceptional site is renowned worldwide, and it is a favorite of brides and grooms looking to exchange their vows in the splendor of the surrounding beauty it provides.
Located along the west shore of Tahoe, Emerald Bay is a short drive from the heart of the city and is available year-round to serve as host for those wanting a spectacular ceremony venue. In contrast, you may want a beachfront wedding where you can walk barefoot in the sand and have a ceremony at the water’s edge. Several fabulous locations that offer such a setting are found along the south shore of Lake Tahoe. Among others, some of the top choices include Regan Beach, Lakeside Beach, and Zephyr Cove. In addition to its natural beauty and serene setting, Regan Beach is noted for its easy access and convenience, and although Lakeside Beach and Zephyr Cove have unique characteristics unto themselves, they all rival in quality. Located within miles of each other, all have the attribute of a panoramic view of Lake Tahoe and the encircling Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.
One of the most desirable outdoor wedding locations in Lake Tahoe is the highly renowned bluff of Emerald Bay. Brides and grooms both near and far make the journey to this alluring wonderland perched high above the sparkling panorama that’s outlined with the splendor of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range to exchange their vows and wedding rings with beautiful and elegant wedding dresses and suits. Situated at an altitude of 6,319 feet along the west shore of Lake Tahoe north of Camp Richardson, Emerald Bay ceremonies are conducted on the edge of the bluff that towers approximately 300 feet over the water. A narrow trail brings you to an impasse that provides seclusion for a private and intimate wedding.
The backdrop creates an incredible ambiance that will leave a lasting impression among you and your guests in addition to providing outstanding photographic images for your wedding album. Simplicity Adds to the Fun of a Ceremony at Emerald Bay Features other than beauty contributing to the popularity of weddings atop the bluff include simplicity of securing the location and its low cost to do so. Though it does require a permit to conduct a ceremony at the predesignated area, many ministers and wedding planning services in the Tahoe area acquire their own permit from the forestry service, which allows them to legally operate and perform weddings at Emerald Bay. This makes use of the area an effortless process for the couple.

Michelle Williams Wins as the New Face of Louis Vuitton

For Michelle Williams flying under the radar has pretty much been her style. Until now. Over the years, her short hair and edgy appearance has always been a trademark look, but now she's taking it to the next level. This season, Louis Vuitton snatched up the blonde bombshell for their Fall/Winter 2013-2014 handbag campaign where they premiere two new bags: the W and the Capucines.

Shot by award winning photographer Peter Linddbergh, the photos are visually stunning; showcasing deep defined brows set against her porcelain skin and messy blonde shag. The dark mysterious girl in the Louis Vuitton ads is quite a leap from the fresh-faced innocence of Glenda the good witch we saw Williams portray in this year’s “Oz the Great and Powerful.” The Louis Vuitton ads are her first major luxury campaign and from first glance at these images, it won’t be her last. The ads will be introduced in France August 2nd and will hit stateside in September and October. Aside from her Louis Vuitton campaign, Willaims is current in production of her next upcoming film, “Suite Française.”

Miranda Kerr is the Muse of Mango for Second Season in a Row

Miranda Kerr will once again be the model for Mango as she returns for their fall 2013 campaign. In her second season as the face of the Spanish fashion line, Kerr is looking just a little grunge in a plaid shirt and ripped up jeans styled by Géraldine Saglio. After shooting Kerr’s first campaign, photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin returned for the new fall photoshoot. “I loved that Inez and Vinoodh kept the look of the campaign very raw and natural and I think it complements the collection very well. They did a fantastic job, as always!” Kerr told Grazia.
Kerr joins Hollywood starlets like Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson, and Milla Jovovich who have all been models for the popular design house. Having kept models and actresses for several seasons as the face of the brand, Mango may re-enlist Kerr for their campaigns next year.

Most of British and French residents in Canada are papalizing Catholic or Christian, their wedding customs have many similarities with the western countries which are papalizing Christian. Most of Canadian youth have attached great importance to the wedding ceremony, they will always strive to held their wedding ceremony in a warm atmosphere, and their wedding could be beautiful with rich commemorative meaning. They will start the relevant preparation work about the wedding before the last few Months even a year. In recent years, Canadian government departments have setted up agency network for marriage consulting at all levels across the country, the male and female who are ready to get married can go to the shopping mall, restaurant, hotel even town hall on and some other places for the newly-married shopping advice, telling them how to shop a cheap wedding dress or a suit, how to book a restaurant and so on, this kind of advisory service is free of charge. If consultants are satisfied, they can choose and buy goods guided by the shopping guide at once, at the same time, and the free door-to-door delivery services are also provided freely. Otherwise, the various regions also will hold the commodities fair about the wedding supplies each year, it will be very busy and lively at that time.

floats

Canadian youth are fond of holding their wedding during the period from May to September, especially in July, and the wedding ceremony usually will be chosed on Saturday. During this period, Canadian urban and rural church will spread pleasant "wedding march" from morning till night on weekends, the floats with bride and groom will slowly drive, meanwhile, the watching people will give the warm applause and kind laughter, the meeting cars will honk to show their congratulations, all of the regions are immersed in a jubilant atmosphere. Because most of the youth choose the same period of time to hold their wedding, the church also will be extremely busy, so everything about wedding must be contacted in order before three to four months. Canadian people love flowers, so the flowers on their wedding should be very fastidious. The church, banquet hall and bridal chamber should be dressed up with roses, orchids, and lilys, the colour is very gorgeous, aroma is very tangy, so purchasing flowers is also an important thing.

Wedding ceremony will be held in a church, and the ceremony contents are also broadly similar with many western countries. The wedding rings of Canadian newlyweds will engrave with the acronym of their respective names and the wedding date inside of the ring, both sides will regard the rings as treasures, then reserve them for permanent memory.
